Tamales Tlacuache

When I was asked to design a logo for an East Austin-based vegan tamal company, I leapt for a piece of linoleum and my carving tool — that is, after I asked my client to spend about 20 minutes teaching me how to pronounce tlacuache, which means “opossum” in Nahuatl.
